Carol Schulz

Carol is a commercial pilot with a Premier Jet PIC type rating and a CFII. Her aviation journey began while she was bored in Medellín, Colombia. She passed her Private Pilot checkride in October 2021 with DPE Chip Bornstein — now Flight Stars' Chief Pilot — and rapidly earned her remaining ratings. She went on to instruct as a CFI at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and flew the Premier Jet and Citation CJ3+, logging 1,300 flight hours before focusing full-time on the business. Carol is deeply passionate about helping people achieve their personal, professional, and financial goals through aviation.

Chip is a Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) in Arizona and has been a flight instructor for over 43 years. He also flies as a captain for a major airline on the Boeing 777. He has worked as an airline flight safety manager, check airman, assistant chief pilot, and FAA en route radar air traffic controller. Chip holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Adult Education and Training. His goal is to help others achieve their aviation objectives with an emphasis on safety and the standards.
